"Images of leaves and their Multitude of meanings inspire an artist"

In her acrylic paintings, she spreads the paint onto the canvas in short rhythmic movements, depicting a rainstorm of leaves or large sensuous leaves crowding the canvas or a single leave floating endlesly on water. To Dalia the leaf symbolizes man's struggles since creation.

Occasinally Leaves

Man knew the Garden Leaves
In waters all living disappears
From the deep leaves are home
No more storm
Leaves of dust and ashes
Death and destruction
Remembrance Tree

Cut not uprooted
Burnt to purify
Come forth from naught
Survive and blossom
Protect and nourish
The remnants
Leaves of Life

In hearts the hope
Branches to bear
Renewal no end
Void all and more
Detached, wandering
Reaching crossroads
Leaves are borne
Vanish and return
As people do
Recalling the land
Roots absorbing
Fertilizers of life

Upwards on top
Leaves return
REaching crossroads
Seasons a breeze
so is fall
occasionally leaves
Signs of Life
